The Arcadian Empire is a country on Planet Bob, with the capital Arcadia being located in Milan (using the International Standard Map). The Empire is a large nation, and, using the International Standard Map, it stretches as far south as Sassan on Cyprus, as far north as Frankfurt, as far east as Wien and as far west as Toulouse. Although, the Empire renames cities, as Milan became Arcadia, the change has still not been changed on the International Standard Map.
Today, the Empire is ruled in a Capitalist fashion, and is a matured nation of over 50 000. From its beginnings, it has been a permanent member of the Legion, and celebrated their one year anniversary as a Legionnaire on July 11, 2008.
The Arcadian Empire is also the creator the UCFA Champions League and hosted the First Edition. It currently manages UCFA, and the postponed Legion Champions League, however still holding the rights to the UCFA Champions League. It is an active participant in World Football, it's teams have one two honours in total and its honours include: 2 UCFA Champions Leagues, 2nd Place Liga Mundo, 2 3rd Places UCFA Champions League.

This is the official biography, taken from "Admin's World List of All Nations Volume 1: A"
"Arcadian Empire is a growing, mostly developed, and aging nation at 444 days old with citizens primarily of Mixed ethnicity whose religion is Shinto. Its technology is progressing moderately and its citizens enjoy an average amount of technological improvements within the nation. Its citizens pay extremely high taxes and many despise their government as a result. The citizens of Arcadian Empire work diligently to produce Aluminum and Spices as tradable resources for their nation. It is a mostly neutral country when it comes to foreign affairs. It will usually only attack another nation if attacked first. When it comes to nuclear weapons Arcadian Empire will not research or develop nuclear weapons. Plans are on the way within Arcadian Empire to open new rehabilitation centers across the nation and educate its citizens of the dangers of drug use. Arcadian Empire allows its citizens to protest their government but uses a strong police force to monitor things and arrest lawbreakers. It has an open border policy, but in order for immigrants to remain in the country they will have to become citizens first. Arcadian Empire believes in the freedom of speech and feels that it is every citizen's right to speak freely about their government. The government gives foreign aid when it can, but looks to take care of its own people first. Arcadian Empire will not make deals with another country that has a poor history of inhuman treatment of its citizens."

The Arcadian Empire, and the word Arcadia is taken from the old nickname for the area, "Marcadialon", meaning 'cold land.' The founders of the Empire took the word and shortened it.
[edit] The Flag of the Arcadian Empire
The Flag of the Arcadian Empire was designed on July 8, 2007. The flag is Red and Black, the two national colours of the Empire. Red is chosen to show the fear others have of the Empire and the Black is meant to represent the struggles the Empire has faced.
The Red Star is the most important symbol, it is the symbol of the Imperial Government.

The Arcadian Empire was formed officially on July 8, 2007. However, the state had existed since January but was not recognised officially.
The Arcadian Empire's citizens are mostly all from Darkreigner, a previous Empire where Emperor Power, the current Emperor has relations with (Emperor Kaisor of Darkreigner is Emperor Power's brother.)
On July 9, one day after being recognised officially, the Arcadian Empire joined the Alliance Legion as per law in the 3rd Constitution of the Arcadian Empire.
During July 9 and 11, 2007, the Arcadian Empire fought the 3 Day War with HoratioLand, a nation allied with Blackwave, which is a White Alliance, according to the Arcadian Intelligence Agency. In total, 54 Arcadians lost their lives in 5 battles while killing 51.
As part of the "Expand Arcadia" Program, Stadiums were built to house future sporting events to come to Arcadia, some being UCFA Champions League Finals, Liga Mundo matches and friendlies.
August 3 was again a big celebration for the Empire, as they reached both 3000 citizens and 5000 supporters. Five days later, the Empire celebrated one month of being the Arcadian Empire. However, celebrations could not be celebrated as the Arcadian Empire officially went to peace mode to protect itself from Valhalla and the Legion's enemies over a spying scandal. During the war, the Arcadian Imperial Bank was also established.
The Arcadian Empire finally went out of peace mode on August 19 and since then, has been growing in population peacefully. On August 26, they grew to 7,000 people and it is planned on either August 27 or 28 that a new improvement to the nation will be made. The Stadium was eventually built on September 1, and given the name Stadio Imperatrix.
In early September, the world went to a war like situation again which annulled the commitments of the Government to not purchase anything for a week in honour of fallen Arcadians. The Unjust War had started, and orders from the Legion forced the Empire to go to DEFCON 1 and to attack \m/ targets.
In September 23, the war was nearly over and it was revealed a third stadium was to be built in Courtenae, the Stadium's name has been revealed as Unlimited Stadium and is reportedly to seat around 90,000. When the stadium was completed, the nation was shocked, including the Emperor himself when the Stadium, originally planned to seat only 90 000, seated 96,872.
Since then, the Empire has quietly grown and started its impression in the international Football scene with the start of the first ever UCFA Champions League where it finished in Third Place. Then coming Third again, winning the Championship and then retaining it. It is currently into its 3rd title defence.
Arcadia has also participated in the Transvaal World Cup, where it finished 17th, and came 2nd in Liga Mundo.
Arcadia has been blooming recently, with many improvements and talk of a National Wonder to come in April.

The 2007 Constitution of the Arcadian Empire established the Imperial Government, consisting of the Emperor and/or the Empress. The Emperor/Empress heads the Senate, the Imperial Judiciary, the Imperial Cabinet and the Imperial Army.
On July 16, 2007, Emperor Power passed a law that if a government change is needed, a vote will choose the government if the current government is unsuitable for the Empire. However, according to the Constitution, if a government change has ocurred, the current Emperor will still be the head of state.
The Constitution has gone through only one major change, where it was completely scrapped and replaced with the Arcadian Empire Act, which was a re-writing of the Constitution. It revolutionised the Government and left the Imperial Office the only office of Government. This happened on November 3, 2007.
In its life, there have been 6 referendums taken to the People, of which only half have passed. Here is a list of the referendums and their results:

Imperial Order
These three individuals make all decisions in Arcadia, all laws passed must go through this governing body to be approved or vetoed. If it is vetoed, it will be taken to a referendum. Laws can also go through referendum if the Imperial Order deem necessary.

The second highest office. These five individuals are the heads of various Government Departments, and they are responsible for bringing things to the Imperial Order.

Imperial Judiciary
These seven judges are part of the highest Court in Arcadia (the Imperial Court.) These seven judges hear appeals from the Arcadian High Court and Arcadian Empire Act matters. There is purposely 4 males and 3 females in a Full Hearing, in a Sub-Hearing, 1 male and 2 females officiate the trial.

[edit] Foreign Relations
The Arcadian Empire currently is in the Purple Team and is allied with the Legion. For a brief period of three days, the Empire was in the blue team but switched to Purple, on the advice of the Legion.
The Arcadian Empire fully supports any Legion activity after the passing of the Legion Loyalty Law or L3. The Arcadian Empire was also part of a Legion Trading Guild led by Raziel, however is now in an independant trading guild.
The Arcadian Empire was recognised as a Squad Leader of Nations in early August, leading nations in a squadron of the Legion. The Arcadian Empire was the Leader in Squad 3 of Cohort 2 of the First Legion for a month, leading small nations with around 1500 NS.
The Arcadian Empire then became part of Legion 2 Cohort 5 Squad 2 after squad rechanging. However, after the military reshufffling, the Arcadian Empire was switched to Cohort 4, Squad 1. It is currently in negotiation for entry into Cohort 5.
The Arcadian Empire is an avid workhorse for the Legion. The Arcadian Empire holds these merits within the Legion:
- Spam Corps Member - sends important mass messages to Legion members, e.g. go to peace mode or vote on a Consul
- Director of Communications - heads the Communications Dept., responsible for Spam Corps, Legion Letter, Propaganda
- Senator - helps the Consulate and makes some executive decisions, with the other Senators
- Centurion - in charge of organising military personnel
- Legion Letter Staff - writes and edits the Legion's monthly newsletter
Outside of the Legion, the Arcadian Empire also holds these merits:
- Head of UCFA - heads UCFA, a football organisation

Article V, Section IX of the Arcadian Constitution (Arcadian Empire Act.) says: "The Arcadian Empire rejects war as an instrument of aggression against the freedoms of others peoples and as a means for settling international controversies; it agrees, on conditions of equality with other states, to the limitations of sovereignty necessary for an order that ensures peace and justice among Nations; it promotes and encourages international organizations having such ends in view."
In Article V, Section XII, it says: "Arcadian Military Forces (TIM) are under the supervision of the Legion. The Emperor or Empress has no power to declare war and/or use any Arcadian Military Forces unless given permission by the Legion first."
The Imperial Military (TIM), previously the AMF, is currently only 1 section, the Army.
The Arcadian Empire currently has 9 000 soldiers working in the TIM. There were previously tanks, but a new law was passed to edit the Arcadian Empire Act. Article V, Section XIV now states: "In normal peace time, TIM are permitted to only have less than 30% of the total population. All tanks are to be decomissioned and there are to be no aircraft. Spies are also to be decomissioned.
In a time of war, TIM are permitted to have unlimited soldiers, tanks, aircraft and spies. These personnel and equipment are only to be used under the direct supervision of the Legion only."

The last census was taken on April 1, 2008 and it showed that there are 43450 working citizens and 9000 soldiers. There were also 23000 minors (people under 18), however they are not counted as supporters as they are not old enough to vote or support the Empire.

Darkreigners (born in Darkreigner): 71.5%, Arcadians: 20.0%, From other countries: 8.5%
The Empire has a population density that is high, over 55 people per square mile. This has been left, as the environment is already, "near perfect" according to Emperor Power. However, the Arcadian Government has promised if the density goes over 60, it will be fixed by purchase of land, and has happened once.

Christianity is by far the largest religion in the country. It was Taoism, but a wave of Christian missionaries came through the country and converted almost 45 000 people to the religion.

The Ministry of Sport is in charge of all sports in the country. However, only one sport is played in the country, football.
Football, or association football or soccer as it also known is the Empire's most popular sport. The Arcadian National Team is nicknamed the Arcadian Aces or the Arcs.
The Aces are chosen by the Ministry of Sport, which choses the best Arcadians in the country to represent them in the UCFA Champions League and the Transvaal World Cup.
Arcadia FC also represent the Empire in Liga Mundo, and they are chosen by the Government, as opposed to the Ministry of Sport.
